Community Guidelines
The rules that make Forj safe.
Forj is a community of professionals who came here for serious, intentional connections. These guidelines exist to protect that community. Breaking them has consequences — up to and including permanent removal.
What we require
Be who you say you are
Your profile must accurately represent you. All photos must be recent (within 2 years) and must show your face clearly in at least one image. Your professional information must match your LinkedIn verification.
- Use your real name or a genuine display name
- Do not misrepresent your job, career level, or education
- Do not use photos of other people or heavily filtered photos that misrepresent your appearance
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Forj
Treat people with respect
Every person on Forj is a professional who came here for a genuine connection. Treat them accordingly — in messages, on profiles, and in any interaction facilitated by the platform.
- Be honest about your relationship intentions from the start
- Accept that rejection is part of dating — do not retaliate or harass
- Respect when someone chooses not to respond or match with you
- Do not send unsolicited explicit content of any kind
Protect your safety and others'
Forj is designed for intentional connections, not exploitation. Any behaviour that compromises the safety of another user will result in immediate account suspension pending investigation.
- Never ask for money, financial information, or gifts
- Do not attempt to move conversations off-platform before establishing trust
- Report any behaviour that makes you or others feel unsafe
- Keep your login credentials private — do not share your account
